From the Lifestyle Channel website:

"Neil Perry is Australia’s most successful chef. He is the ebullient, pony-tailed butcher's son who defined the new Australian cuisine with dishes like his luscious stir-fried blue swimmer crab omelette.

On a world scale however, he has yet to reach the heights of a Nobu or a Ducasse. In this era of globalisation and branding, these chefs have business deals with mega-wealthy investors, allowing them to open premiere restaurant ‘chains’ around the world.

A born and bred Sydney-sider, Neil is at a stage in his career where most chefs think about slowing down, but he’s doing no such thing. Instead he is about to raise the stakes and head south to launch his biggest restaurant ever… a steak house in the heart of Melbourne – the Crown Casino.

In this series we see him take knocks, regroup, and persevere with breathtaking confidence, a plan that could make or break him."

Really enjoyed this one. A wide variety of different styles and genres were tackled from jazz to rock. An engaging documentary too...
